Almost 40% of professionals working in the UK lingerie sector claim they receive no formal training within their current role.
Asked which statement best describes the level of training that their current employer provides, some 38% of respondents to the Lingerie Insight Job Satisfaction Survey so far said they were not involved in any sort of measured training plan.
25% of those polled indicated they would like to receive more training than they are presently afforded, while 37% stated that they were “satisfied” with the level of training offered to them.
Not a single respondent has yet said they ‘receive too much training’.
On-the-job training remains the preferred choice for lingerie executives, according to the survey. 67% of respondents said they favour learning in their usual working environment.
Having an outside trainer come into the place of work also ranks highly with the trade. 17% of workers believe this method of learning is the most effective form of training.
