Ostomy underwear brand appoints general manager

Ostomy underwear and swimwear specialists Vanilla Blush has promoted 22 year-old Chantelle Monaghan to company general area manager for Scotland.

Monaghan, who joined the Glasgow-based company in 2013 as assistant operations manager, has taken on the new responsibilities thanks to the company’s continuing success in the global market.

She said: “ I joined Vanilla Blush on a week’s trial and loved the job. The company’s founder, Nicola Dames, asked me to stay and I’m now delighted to have been promoted after three years with the business.”

As well as being in charge of sales and customer contact throughout Scotland, Monaghan will be carrying out media work centered around the company’s growing product range.

Vanilla Blush director of Global Communications, Simon Dames, said: “We are delighted to have promoted Chantelle to this demanding and fulfilling post and know that our customers and the company will benefit greatly from this appointment.”

Vanilla Blush was launched in 2008, and has enjoyed much success, including appearing on UK and Irish TV programmes and being named Post Surgery Brand of the Year at the 2014 UK Lingerie Awards.
