Obey My Demand (OMD) will be making its official launch at Shoreditch boutique Bordello on April 7.
The brand is part of the New Designer Collective, a new project by the boutique to highlight and promote ‘exciting new talent in the UK’.
The OMD luxury leather range from is now also stocked at Coco de Mer, London and will soon feature on its online boutique.
The brand has already attracted an impressive celebrity following. Alesha Dixon wore a white leather corset by the label for a performance at the last year’s MOBOs and Lady Gaga recently donned an OBD bra for her new ‘Born This Way’ video.
Established in the UK and supported by The Prince’s Trust, OMD seeks to combine luxury trend driven lingerie with sophistication, whilst focusing on the ‘sensuality and powe’r of the female form.
OBD was founded in 2010 by De Montfort University graduate Leanne Brooke, who finished the Contour and Fashion Design course with a first class honours degree. Her designs were thrust into the public eye when they featured in the music video ‘Tiny Dancer’ by DJ Ironik, featuring Chipmunk and Elton John.
