An independent lingerie shop based in Norwich has closed its doors amid tough market conditions.
Proudlock and Harry, located on London Street, has appointed Parker Andrews as administrators after ceasing to trade last week, reports the Eastern Daily Press.
The store, which specialised in designer, lingerie, shoes and accessories, opened in September 2013.
In January, the company posted on Facebook that it was rebranding and clearing all stock.
But company directors failed to turn the business around after financially supporting the boutique for some time.
Proposed liquidator Richard Cacho told the Eastern Daily Press said: “Trading has been difficult and keeping up with the blue-chips is near impossible in the current market, with the added pressure of online retailers offering similarly high-end products at cut down prices, as they do not have the same overhead costs.”
