Post-surgery lingerie and swimwear specialist Nicola Jane is set to host personal style days and fashion shows at its London boutique.

International fashion stylist and new shop manager Maureen O’Halloran, dubbed by the media as Ireland’s answer to Gok Wan, will invite customers to attend these special events in store from October, to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The news follows announcement that the flagship store, located on Goswell Road, Clerkenwell, has undergone a stylish makeover.

O’Halloran, who was appointed in April, has transformed the space to offer a boutique feel, with softer lighting, French-style dressers and drawers, chandeliers and feminine wallpaper.

The shop manager has also removed POS stands from the middle of the shop floor, creating an open space to browse lingerie and swimwear, which now hang in alcoves and arched walls.

“One reason for the big change to the shop and all the extra space is that I want to hold advice days and fashion days,” O’Halloran told Lingerie Insight.

“So if women want a wardrobe cleanout, I’ll invite them to come in store with a few items and try them on with a proper fitting bra,” she added.

“We’ll also be inviting nurses to come in and receive information about the advice they can give to their patients about what bras they should be wearing after surgery,” continued O’Halloran.

“And we’ll be having guest speakers and fashion shows. Of course, I was in the celebrity industry, so I will be knocking on a few doors and getting them in here.

“So there are big plans for the shop itself. In here, everything is geared towards our clients.”
