New swimwear brand on the block embraces multi-functional designs for poolside pieces

A newly-launched brand has dived into the UK’s swimwear market with a range of nature-inspired pieces.

Pretty Mi’s debut collection includes swimwear and swimtimates, a trans-functional design that can be worn on the beach at a festival or added to a customer’s intimates drawer.

The pieces, which are inspired by the garden of Eden, feature tropical rainforest prints, lotus flower embroidery placements, lurex sparkle fabric and animal prints with tassels and pattern elastics.

The pieces are finished with gold fasteners and hard-wear details to the straps and tie ends.

The brand’s designer and owner, Michelle Pretty-Smith, has worked within the intimates industry as a lingerie designer for 15 years and has more recently turned her creativity to print and swimwear design. Pretty-Smith has designed for many manufacturers to the UK high street and major lingerie and swimwear brands.

Pretty-Smith said: “The Pretty Mi brand is designed to appeal to the confidently feminine woman who wants to be individual and unique. With a focus on creative fashion and naturally inspired by lingerie the exclusive designs utilise bespoke embroidery from traditional lingerie suppliers together with swimwear fabric and print to create a unique look.”
