New post-surgery brand to make Moda debut

New luxury post-surgery brand Clover Lewis Swimwear will be introduced to buyers at Moda next month after a successful launch at Selfridges.

The brand will showcase the capsule Olympians Rule 2016 collection, created to balance style with comfort.

Available in vibrant corals, marine-inspired blues, hot flashes of pink and luxe lace, each piece reinforces an aspect of the Olympian spirit, with the aim of supporting women who have had surgery due to breast cancer to look good and feel good by the pool.

Clover Lewis Swimwear was launched at a niche start-up show at Selfridges in May 2014.

“I was thrilled by the response from both the media and the public, which spurred me on to develop the company over the last year to the point where I can now launch it as a wholesale business,” said founder, Clover Lewis.

The designer established the brand in response to a fruitless search for luxury swimwear after her own breast cancer surgery in 2010.

“I quickly became aware that there was little available swimwear that made me feel like myself whilst on the beach,” she explained.

“If it was like this for me, I knew it would be the same for the many fashion-savvy women out there, struggling to find quality swimwear after mastectomy or reconstruction.”
