Polish brand Undress Code is an everyday underwear brand that pays tribute to women’s fast-paced lifestyles and modern values.
Combining Polish design with top quality French and Italian materials, the brand creates contemporary garments that can be worn as lingerie or ready-to-wear.
The brand was launched in Poland in 2015 and introduced to UK buyers at Dessous London in July this year.
Here, co-founder Kacper Zielinski tells us more in a quickfire Q&A.
What inspired you to launch an underwear brand?
The main inspiration for the launch was [co-founder] Izabela Godlewska’s experience of working for a fast-paced consulting company. Women she was meeting in her role inspired her to redefine lingerie design and create new, reliable and comfortable pieces that can be worn every day. Two years later, Undress Code was born.
How would you describe your latest collection?
The collection consists of accentuating silhouettes and geometric designs that, thanks to their quality and versatility, will work both as underwear.
What attracted you to the UK market?
We believe that the UK market is full of women undauntedly chasing their dreams every day, and we want to create for them.
What are your price points?
Bras are priced between £54 and £60, while panties range from £37 to £48 and bodysuits range from £78 to £124.
What are the next steps for the brand?
We are planning to expand our retail presence with the new department stores and concept stores. For example, we recently opened a pop-up shop at Printemps, Paris. As for products, we will be expanding into swimwear and loungewear in the coming seasons.
