NEW LAUNCH: Made-to-order label breaks the mould

A new boutique lingerie label creating made-to-order intimate apparel has launched in Australia.

iolé lingerie produces each piece on the day it is ordered from its studio in Melbourne and ships most items within three business days.

Standout pieces from the inaugural collection include the Emmeleia halter-neck bodysuit – a silk-bound piece, with delicate embroidery and bust-wrapping to enhance shape and support.

The Malika hipster brief is also a striking piece, with whisper-soft eyelash lace designed to sit lightly on the body.

A spokesman for iolé lingerie said: “Here at iolé, we don’t chase fads or trends, nor do we produce fast-fashion lingerie that is ‘in style’ for approximately three months before it’s consigned to the fashion history books.

“Our focus is on timeless, elegant styles that look as beautiful today as they did fifty years ago. From delicate lace briefs to sophisticated underwired bras with silk-front straps, iolé is a lingerie label that understands why certain shapes and silhouettes will never go out of style.”
