Fuller bust lingerie wholesaler Curvy Kate has teamed up with the social media marketing agency mycleveragency (MCA) to design and launch its annual real woman modelling search through the brand’s facebook site.
Curvy Kate is looking for a new naturally curvy girl (D plus) to become the new face and body of the brand, in an attempt to give its customers a true representation of how a bra fits and looks on a bigger bust. The winner will model with Curvy Kate for two seasons and win a year’s supply of lingerie.
MCA has devised the Facebook application and social network strategy, which enables entrants to upload their photos from within Facebook, with the public interacting through two voting stages.
With over 2000 entrants in the UK in previous years, the brand hopes to receive an even bigger response this year with the assistance of MCA, by enabling people to spread word of mouth online.
MCA chief strategy officer Rob McNair said: “We’re delighted to help Curvy Kate leverage their already successful Star in a Bra model search on the social web this year.”

Curvy Kate specialises in lingerie for the fuller bust, from D to K cups, with back sizes from 28-40”. Curvy Kate only ever employs ‘real women’ in all PR and marketing activities.
