 Activewear returns

The Active zone will make a return to Moda after a successful show last season.

Targeting the contemporary active and wellness consumer, the area will present collections by Bjorn Borg, Acai Activewear and Leg Code, as well as sports diffusion lines such as Anita Active and Freya Active.

“I was overwhelmed by the reaction of buyers and had already exceeded my sales expectations an hour into the first day,” said Bjorn Borg’s key account manager, Neil Smith, after the launch of Active at Moda last season. “The overall consensus was that athleisure is a key focus right now.”

Boob Brunch

Lingerie retailers attending Moda have been invited to the inaugural ‘Boob Brunch’ hosted by breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel! at this season’s show.

Taking place prior to the first lingerie catwalk on Sunday morning, the Boob Brunch will bring the community together to raise awareness of CoppaFeel! and its work.

The event will herald a nationwide campaign to host Boob Brunches all over the UK.

Moda’s Boob Brunch will take place at 11am on Sunday, 19 February around the catwalk in Hall 20.

Catwalk schedule

Sunday: 11.15, 13.45 and 16.15
10.00, 13:45 and 17.00

New Business Tuesday

Moda is launching a new concept – New Business Tuesday – to support newly-established and aspiring retailers.

The event will host a tailored seminar programme covering topics including the basics of social media and advice on how to thrive during the first 12 months of launching a business.

Typically the most relaxed day of the event, Moda organisers say Tuesday offers the ideal opportunity for retailers to discover the world of trade fashion.

Exhibitors are also set to welcome enquiries from new retailers on the third day of the show.
