Swedish brand Björn Borg presented a futuristic sportswear collection at Stockholm Fashion Week on Monday, with a Mars-themed catwalk show.
The label took guests on a journey to outer-space, presenting its SS16 range on an outdoor circular runway, covered in red rocks and surrounded with bright lights beaming towards the galaxy.

Björn Borg dedicated its show to the space initiative Mars One, as a tribute to its vision and desire to take on the ultimate fitness challenge; training for Mars.
The SS16 collection, along with a capsule collection designed in collaboration with stylist Naomi Itkes, took inspiration from the history of space travel and the journeys to find new frontiers that took place during the 1970’s and 80’s.
The range features retro styles, colours and silhouettes from this era, mixed with high performance materials.
“We have now showed the world how to train for Mars, and hope that our tribute can inspire to epic adventures. Fashion interested explorers will be able to find our show collection in a limited edition as of January 19th next year,” said Björn Borg head of design James Lee.
