Mimi Holliday has unveiled a new intimate apparel collection inspired by the romantic vibes of the South of France.
Designer Damaris Evans grew up holidaying in a family hamlet near Toulouse, France. It was there that she first admired her mother’s red and white polka dot bikini, inspiring her career in lingerie.
Her SS16 Halcyon collection reflects Evan’s cultural heritage, with its playful and feminine styles named after Love Heart sweets, inspired by the excitement of a first crush.
Iconic continuity lines, including Call Me, Wild Thing and Tease Me, have had a make-over this season; with gold hear buckles and new bow closures on select bras.
Following on from the successful introduction of silk sleepwear and loungewear, soft modal has been used for the first time in Mimi’s chemises, robes and camisole tops.
Styles include I’m Your’s, True Love, Bisou Bisou Sugar and First Love in a palette of ivory, black and soft pink.
New additions to the collection include a bra-less shapewear dress and the Sweet Heart peek-a-boo bra.
Sweet Heart, featuring a bra, suspender and knicker, will be offered as a gift set.
