MIC’s Millie Mackintosh boosts sales at Huit

Huit has reported that the loyalty of its newest celebrity fan, Made in Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh, has helped boost sales of the brand’s lingerie and swimwear

Mackintosh recently rocked the chic French label once again in the latest issue of FHM, this month.

The star wore the label’s Icone Bra and high waisted knicker set for the shoot. Since Icone launched at John Lewis, this month, online sales have reportedly been in the top 10 of the store’s best selling lingerie lines.

It was not the first time that Mackintosh had graced the pages of magazines wearing Huit. Her first shoot for FHM featured a four page spread of Millie in the Figleaves bestseller, Cupcake. In her consecutive FHM shoot she wore the Huit is Biotiful collection.

A black wrap around bikini sold out on Lazeme.co.uk within 24 hours of an article being published in the national media, discussing Mackintosh wearing the product. Mackintosh tweeted an image of her wearing the Florida Doll drape bikini with the strap line ‘Getting ready for Ibiza in my Huit Bikini’. Sales soared as Twitter ‘came alive’ with retweets, including one from boyfriend Professor Green.

Huit head of marketing Ann-Marie Manley said: “Millie Mackintosh wears our collections so well, the best thing is she chooses to wear them as she feels good in them. We admire Millie’s style and hope she continues to fall in love with the future Huit collections.”
