Ultimo chief executive Michelle Mone unveiled the new-look Debenhams store in Glasgow city centre yesterday.
The 105,000 sq ft department store was re-opened after an extensive refurbishment. Mone, whose Adore Moi by Ultimo lingerie range is exclusive to Debenhams, re-launched the store alongside long serving staff member Bill Milligan.
Milligan has worked at the store on Argyle Street since 1991 and joined Mone for the ribbon cutting ceremony to officially re-launch the store.
As part of the opening celebrations, Michelle took part in a Lingerie Masterclass, which started at 11am, and answered questions about her new season range.
Debenhams store manager Gary Kelway said: “Michelle Mone is such an inspirational and well known business women so we were delighted when she agreed to open the store with Bill. Of course, the fact that she’s a home grown success makes it all the better.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for fans of her ranges to come down and meet the woman behind the brand – while also taking a look at our refurbished store.”
There were a variety of special offers available to shoppers on the launch day with activities throughout the store, including face painters, Buzz Lightyear for the children and Reebok easy tone demos and cosmetic house activity for the adults.
Shoppers who prefer to order online can also now collect items they have ordered direct from the store.
