Michelle Mone fronts BA’s summer campaign

Michelle Mone has become a poster girl for British Airways (BA), modelling her own swimwear designs for the airline’s latest advertising campaign.

BA said it’s introducing its “biggest ever summer schedule”, launching new routes and offering more seats to summer holiday destinations from London airports.

To celebrate, the airline has recruited Michelle Mone, who has been photographed with the new A380 jumbo, wearing a bespoke British Airways-inspired Ultimo swimming costume.

Mone also modelled pieces from the Ultimo 2014 swimwear collection as part of the shoot.

She said she is “delighted” that BA has asked her to help launch its summer flights.

“I fly with British Airways four times a week and it’s a great honour to be part of this iconic British brand. My Ultimo team and I designed a fantastic one-off British Airways swimsuit to bring our two great brands together,” she added.

Colm Lacy, British Airways head of commercial, Gatwick, commented:“We’re thrilled to have Michelle on board. Not only is she a globetrotting entrepreneur, but she’s also a loyal British Airways customer, so she was a natural choice for our summer launch.”
