Organisers of Miami SwimShow have announced an increase in attendance at this year’s event, which took place from July 19-22.
The rise in visitor numbers has been attributed to a bigger floorplan, which expanded by 150,000ft2 to 500,000ft2 this year, making way for new swimwear brands to exhibit their collections.
“Always the highlight of the swim season, we were thrilled to introduce a bigger and better-than-ever SwimShow in Miami Beach this year. We welcomed new designers, a new floor plan and new enthusiasm over the course of four action-packed days and nights, celebrating the best of what this show and industry have to offer,” said Judy Stein, executive director of the Swimwear Association of Florida.
Nearly 10,000 people from 60 countries attended the SwimShow, enjoying seminars on swimwear and lifestyle trends, an exclusive swimwear fashion show and featured amenities that included a nail salon, a metallic tattoo bar, an art portraiture bar, photo booths and a tech lounge with a selfie station.
The show took place alongside Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and Salon Allure, a luxury resort, swim and accessories trade show.
