Meng gains first stockists

Selfridges has taken stock of luxury loungewear and beachwear brand Meng.

From August, the department will stock the label’s debut collection of kimonos, gowns and kaftans made from 100% silk.

Following the launch, Meng will also be stocked in London boutique Coco de Mer, as well as overseas department stores including Neiman Marcus in the US, Tsum in Russia and Steffl in Austria.

Founder, Meng Zhang, launched her brand in 2013 and showcased her first collection at Salon International de la Lingerie in January.

The collection includes six different print stories – Cherry Blossom, Lily, Red Flower, Zodiac, Coral and Soft Flower – and prices range from £510 to £1140.

Meng will also be returning to Paris this July to take part in Mode City.
