Meng is stepping out of the lounge and into the sunshine with the release of its first beachwear collection in time for this summer.
The luxury fashion brand, founded in London in 2013, has previously focused on Japanese-inspired women’s loungewear. Its apparel already sells in high-end department stores including Selfridges, Fenwick and Harrods.
The addition of beachwear this season sees an expansion into dresses and kaftans that will take its affluent customers from the pool to the seaside sun lounger in style.
“We hope to inject a youthful spirit and glamorous colour palettes to the loungewear and beachwear landscapes this season,” says Sarah Vivier, sales and marketing manager for Meng.
“Splashes of bright colours bring our coral, zodiac and soft flower prints to life, in an uplifting and vibrant line of dresses and kaftans. Fiery oranges and powerful blues and purples set the scene for bold statement prints mirroring the beauty of nature through twirls and swirls. The collection is playfully feminine, to be the belle of the evening at a cocktail party or simply throw over a bikini on the way to seashores and white sand beaches,” she adds.
