Premium swimwear designer Melissa Odabash will open a pop-up boutique on the Greek island of Crete this weekend.

The brand has teamed up with the Blue Palace Resort & Spa to launch the purpose-built retail space to mark the opening of the Isola Beach Club.

The pop-up boutique will offer the 2016 Melissa Odabash collection, which draws inspiration from 70s icons such as Raquel Welch.

Stand-out items include the suede Dorian skirt, the white Athens triangle bikini featuring gold hardware and the Crete tote bag.

The high summer collection has a seafaring theme, with colours that reflect those of the Aegean Sea – deep navy, exuberant blues and fresh whites.

Odabash’s bohemian style pieces offer a laidback alternative, whilst wrap dresses and cascading kaftans all enable an effortless poolside look.

Melissa Odabash, who will be at Blue Palace on July 9 to launch the pop-up in person commented: “Over the years I have completely fallen in love with Greece and Blue Palace Resort & Spa in Crete is my idea of paradise. I am very much looking forward to opening this beautiful new retail space at such a beautiful hotel.”
