Luxury apparel and loungewear brand Maison de Papillon took inspiration from the fairy tale ‘The Three Princes of Serendip’ to develop its SS16 collection.
The Serendip collection is all about the state of mind and the experience of discovering something unforeseen yet “purely delightful”, according to the brand.
The range, along with the brand’s classic pieces, consists of kaftans, dresses, cover-ups, jumpsuits and multifunctional pants and shorts.
Garments flow and drape with the use of Maison de Papillon’s signature ‘Mondarin style’ colour blocking, with rich colours like charteuse, teal and coral softened by earthy tones such as sand, silver and white.
Fabrics include a variety of silks, such as crepe de chine, silk chiffon, silk charmeuse and silk double georgette.
Maison de Papillon will be showcasing the Serendip collection at the Lingerie Edit in July. Click here for more details.
