Maison Close popularity rises after UKLA win

Maison Close said it has seen an increased interest in its seductive collections since being crowned the Boudoir Brand of the Year at the 2013 UK Lingerie Awards in association with Fashion Forms.

After the ceremony, which was held in December at Covent Garden’s Freemason’s Hall, the French brand proudly publicised the win in its lookbooks, on its website and through social media.

“To get such a prestigious recognition from the industry is a fantastic reward of our hard work, and the UK Lingerie Awards “stamp of approval” quickly became part of our communication kit,” said Maison Close founder and director Nicolas Busnel.

Through this promotion, the label said it has observed “a significant rise” in sales compared to the same period last year.

“Maison Close’s new collection Music Hall, the line that took the prize home, has just become available online and in stores and is already bound to become a best seller. It has been gaining a lot of attention, from the press and the customers alike,” added Busnel.
