Four made-in-Britain underwear brands returned to Indx this week after two years away from the show.
Palm, White Swan, Highcross and Guardian exhibited at the three-day event under parent company Aikon International, which acquired the brands from Manchester Hosiery in 2012.
Manchester Hosiery, a Leicester-based manufacturer founded by Manchester directors, went into administration in 2011, after 105 years of service.
Aikon is headquartered in China, but its four new brands will continue to manufacturer in the town of Hinckley, which was once a hub for knitwear manufacturers.
Men’s brands Guardian and Highcross, and women’s brands Palm and White Swan, offer underwear lines made from cotton, thermal knit fabric and wool.
