British independent lingerie brand Made by Niki is to cease trading after 10 years.
The label said in an emailed statement to its customers today that it is selling the remainder of its stock at huge discounts until it’s gone.
Founder and creative director Niki McMorrough, who launched the brand in 2006, is now embarking on a new career in the car industry.
“From working in the worlds of PR (Freud Communications), music (Ministry of Sound), journalism (The Telegraph), TV (Turner Broadcasting) to then forming her own lingerie brand, Niki has always had a ceaseless desire to change and move forward,” the brand said.
“This brings to a close one chapter, but heralds the start of something new and exciting for both her and her family.”
Made by Niki said McMorrough will be going Live on Facebook in the coming weeks to answer her customer’s questions and let them know when the brand will close.
