Luxury lingerie brand opens first flagship store in London

Luna Mae London, a luxury lingerie and nightwear brand specialising in bespoke design, has opened its first store in London’s Belgravia.

Located at 75 Elizabeth Street, the 1,520ft2 store will host private bespoke fittings and sell curated ready-to-wear collections.

Clients will be welcomed to view an extensive library of luxurious textiles and embellishments before the Luna Mae team take detailed measurements.

A team of cutters and seamstresses will then work in the atelier located beneath the store to bring the creations to life.

By private appointment, clients will be invited to watch the finishing touches applied to their garments before taking them home.

Luna Mae London’s store features dark, smoky walls and glass-encased bespoke lingerie set between a new ready-wear-collection that hangs on golden rails.

Commenting on the opening, founder and CEO Claudia Lambeth said: “I’m thrilled to be offering a new way for women to experience Luna Mae London. For the first time ever, we are inviting clients to discover our world and to allow them to become physically immersed in the source of their creations.

“By encouraging them to meet our seamstresses and learn about the journey from start to finish, ensures we can offer a truly bespoke experience. It has always been my mission to create lingerie that empowers women through excellent fit and quality craftsmanship and I’m excited that Luna Mae London now has an environment that reflects our vision.”

Lambeth founded Luna Mae London in 2012. Faced with the frustrations she met in her own experiences with off-the-rack sizing on the high-street, she sparked a careful two-year design process focusing on the engineering of a bra.

She established her expertise by hosting bespoke fittings at private residences and hotel suites around the world.
