French manufacturer Lise Charmel hosted a spectacular fashion show at Salon International de la Lingerie on Saturday evening, to mark its 40th anniversary.
Hosted by owner and designer Jacques Daumal and general manager Oliver Piquet, the show presented AW16 lingerie, loungewear and swimwear collections from the firm’s five brands, Lise Charmel, Eprise by Lise Charmel, Epure, Antinéa and Antigel.
Hundreds of buyers, distributors and members of the press attended the show at the Paris Expo at Port de Versailles, before joining the brand for a cocktail evening.
Highlights from the collection included silk chemises in mustard, burgundy and teal, adorned with contrasting lace, seductive sheer jumpsuits and corsetry inspired by French and Italian art.
Swimwear mixed intense colours, from turquoise to cobalt blue and orange, finished with Swarovski crystals and vibrant prints.
Lise Charmel is the best-selling brand in France and is currently stocked in 45 countries around the world.
It expanded in the UK in 2011 and is now stocked in over 90 stores across the country, including independent boutiques like Bare Necessities and Caroline Randell and department stores such as Fenwick Bond Street.
