Lingerieinsight.com notched its one millionth page impression in under a year last week.
The web site, which in just 22 months since its launch has grown to become Britain’s biggest portal for intimate apparel news, insight and inspiration, welcomed 278,741 unique visitors over the 12 month period.
Lingerieinsight.com is currently ranked the 23,068th most visited web site in the UK. Its closest competitor in the intimate apparel space is ranked outside the top 100,000 by web measurement service Alexa.com.
“When we launched, we were warned that there would not be enough interesting news to keep a web site fresh every day. We beg to differ. Over 5000 people subscribe to our e-mail Daily News Alert, and one-third of them click through to the web site on a daily basis. The appetite for Lingerie Insight’s news and inspiration is limitless,” said Kat Slowe, Lingerie Insight’s editor.
“The success of our combined digital, print and event strategy is directly benefiting our advertisers and sponsors,” said Marianne Trotta, sales executive for Lingerie Insight. “There is no comparable channel that allows brand to create multiple-media campaigns that directly speak to people that are evidently passionate about intimate apparel,” she added.
