Lingerie boutique owner Kirsty McAspurn will shiver her way up Mount Snowdon this month wearing a pink corset and tights in aid of Against Breast Cancer.
McAspurn, founder of Curvature Boutique of Leigh, hopes to reach her £1000 target when she makes the 1,085 metre climb on March 22 with her friend Jason.
The pair will climb the tallest mountain in Wales wearing corsets from VG London and hosiery from Gabriella.
“Having always enjoyed hiking, it was suggested that we walk in a corset, raising money for a fantastic cause. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and now it’s becoming a reality,” said McAspurn.
“Luckily, our shop suppliers Lorna Drew, Got Wood and Gossard have also donated items for our attire.”
Curvature Boutique has raised around £500 so far through its Just Giving page and by hosting a pamper evening in store last week.
McAspurn also promoted the climb on BBC Radio Essex on Monday.
