Lingerie Insight is launching its 2018 Power List, honouring the stars of the intimate apparel market in its first print publication.
The first annual Power List launched online at Lingerieinsight.com in 2016 and will return with a dedicated print edition in December 2017.
The publication will profile 50 top representatives who play a major part in encouraging business growth and shaping the overall success of the industry.
From the chief executives behind the most influential lingerie brands to designers, marketers and independent shop owners, the Power List will be the ultimate record of the individuals helping to putting intimate apparel on the fashion map.
Last year’s popular format will return, with the list divided into five categories: Business Big Shots, Brand Champions, Movers and Shakers, Retail Stars and Industry Influencers.
Business Big Shots will pay tribute to the figureheads piloting some of the most prominent brands in the intimate apparel sector, including UK labels and international brands with a strong UK foothold.
Brand Champions will highlight the key management and operational chiefs leading some of the most exciting and forward-thinking intimate apparel brands in the market today.
From creative directors to design managers, the Movers and Shakers category will place the spotlight on pioneers in the industry – individuals who are able to create stunning products that make waves in the industry.
In the Retail Stars category, lingerie buyers, e-tailers and independent shop owners will be recognised for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales and working tirelessly to drive their business forward.
Last but by no means least, the Industry Innovators category will pay tribute to those unsung heroes who help nurture talented designers, advise brands and retailers on key decisions, provide consumers with informed opinions on market trends and the best-fitting bras, and promote positive change within the industry.
Anyone in the intimate apparel industry is invited to nominate as many industry professionals as they wish for the respective categories. Self-nominations are also welcome.
Details of how and when to nominate will be available shortly.
