Latvia will host its second Lingerie Industry Forum this November.
Organised by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in collaboration with Latvian lingerie manufactures, the forum will be held as part of Riga Fashion Week on November 1-2.
The event will bring together more than 100 lingerie buyers and brands, market experts and manufacturers to explore new business opportunities, learn about the latest trends, discover emerging lingerie brands, as well as production possibilities in one of the biggest clusters of lingerie manufacturers in Europe.
Buyers can apply for the forum by filling out this online application form by September 15.
One lucky buyer will win a paid trip to the forum, which will take place at the Radisson Blue Hotel in Riga.
The textile sector is the cornerstone of Latvian industry, contributing to 4.4% to the country’s GDP.
An integral part of textile production in Latvia is lingerie manufacturing, especially in the seaside city of Liepaja, which hosts more than 50 manufacturers.
France is the only other European country with a higher concentration of lingerie manufacturers.
