FAB will welcome existing and prospective members to its dedicated lounge at both Pure and at Moda.

Veteran industry commentator Eric Musgrave is working with the FAB committee to help achieve its objectives and grow membership. He says: “Being independent doesn’t mean being on your own. Across my 30-plus years in the fashion business, I have been keenly aware of the advantages of independent retailers coming together to support and assist each other, while learning from the experiences of each other.

“With the current debate about the future of the high street and the changing face of retailing, this is the perfect time for FAB to bring the sector together and represent its views and speak up on its behalf. I am really looking forward to meeting existing FAB members and bringing in many new ones to this excellent organisation.”

For independent retailers interested in FAB, bira is offering a special low joining fee for prospective members signing up at the IMC show, Pure and Moda. For more information, email or the new website launching in February
