Lingerie Francaise launches new website

Lingerie Francaise launched a new website at Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris.

The association of 17 French corset makers aims to promote its heritage through the website.

Sector professionals and the general public will be able to visit and explore ‘vintage’ photos from the workshops of the brands, a film shot behind the scenes of the manufacturer process and the history of lingerie in pictures.

It will highlight international events that have been organised under the group banner, including information on brands taking part in specialist salons, fashion shows, press conferences, ‘Lingerie Parades’ or cultural events, such as exhibitions, publications, or retrospectives.

Lingeriefrancaise.com will also act as an information platform for everyone who is passionate about lingerie. Interested parties can find technical vocabulary, specific to lingerie, key figures about the world lingerie market or the latest developments in the sector.

The Lingerie Francaise association brings together seventeen prestigious French brands, who share a set of common values: Aubade, Barbara, Chantelle and Passionata, Empreinte, Gerbe, Le Chat, Lejaby, Antigel, Antinea, Eprise, Lise Charmel, Lou, Princesse tam.tam, Rosy, Simone Perele and Implicite.

The vocation of this voluntary sector association, which was founded in the 1970s, is to allow members to speak with one voice, ‘not just in France but, in particular, on the international stage’.
