Lingerie buyers and influencers reveal top picks from Dessous London

Lingerie buyers and social media influencers who attended Dessous London earlier this month have shared their favourite looks from the show.

The selected pieces, which were chosen in secret by these industry professionals, including representatives from House of Fraser and Figleaves, and have been kept under wraps until now, have been sketched by one of the organisers behind the event, designer and creative consultant Bok Goodall.

The most popular designs from the show were from emerging brand Dora Larsen. House of Fraser’s assistant buyer Cassandra Alcock, influencer Sophie Eggleton and Instagram influencer Charley/Lingerie Mama all chose collections from this label as their ‘Best in Show’.

Alcock commented: “I loved the contemporary aesthetic of the brand and dreamy colour palette.”

Lingerie Mama added: “The colour palette just had me drooling & cant wait for my size to be catered to!”

Other shortlisted designs include the Jade collection from Something Wicked, chosen by Annabelle Mu’azu, founder of Beautifully Undressed; the Savannah chemise by Sainted Sisters, chosen by Tallulah Lingerie owner Nicola Adams; and ethical designs by Studio Pia, which was chosen by House of Fraser’s assistant buyer Laura Doyle.

Mu’azu commented: “It’s all in the detail with the pieces from Something Wicked. I love the ‘twist’ in their design – empowering, feminine, edgy – everything lingerie should embody. And the fact that everything is made in the UK is brilliant.”

House of Fraser buyer Jenny Elisha, who selected the Marina bra and briefs set by Bluebella as her Best of Show, said: “It’s the perfect combination of feminine and sexy and is super wearable!”
