Thousands of buyers attended a fashion, lingerie and swimwear trade show in Russia last month.
Organisers have announced that 19,850 visitors from 48 countries travelled to the CPM Collection Première Moscow to see brands such as Triumph, Zimmerli, von Follies by Dita von Teese, Creation Susa, Ulla Dessous, Cottonreal and Ballerina.
Of these visitors, 3280 were lingerie and beachwear buyers, according to figures posted on the CPM website.
Summarising the show’s success, CPM project director Christian Kasch said: "CPM remains a vital economic initiator in the Eastern European region, and was able to prove its international pull once again with eleven national pavilions.”
“According to a survey conducted by ITMM [Internationale Textilmarketing und Management] the exhibitors see this trade fair as being absolutely indispensable, since around 40% of the order dates are set during the run-up to the fair."
The three-day event, which took place from February 25, is made up of five segments: CPM Kids, Body&Beach, Fashion&Denim, Premium and Styles.
The next show takes place from 3 to 6 September 2014 at the Expocentre Exhibition Center in Moscow.
