Several lingerie brands and retailers have been shortlisted to receive Drapers Awards this year.
Curvy Kate and Fantasie have been nominated for the Womenswear Brand of the Year category, alongside Adini, Almost Famous, Marc Cain and Seasalt, while Debenhams is hoping to beat John Lewis to the post to walk away with the Department Store Business of the Year award.
Debenhams is also up for the International Retailer of the Year alongside Tesco’s F&F clothing brand, Oasis, Mothercare, Phase Eight and Primark.
Meanwhile, Asos, Boohoo and Secretsales have received nods for Fashion Pure-Play Etailer of the Year and Cornish lingerie and swimwear specialist, Mish, is a finalist for Best Independent Multichannel Operator.
Mish owner Michèle Poynter said: “I am immensely proud that Mish is sitting alongside some of the best, ground-breaking retailers in the UK.
“As a relatively small company, it’s fantastic to be given such special recognition and I can’t thank my team enough for the hard work and dedication that has made this possible."
The shortlisted brands will now be reviewed by a panel of judges including Amazon head of clothing Jessica Brown, retail analyst Nick Bubb and Fenwick Bond Street managing director David Walker-Smith.
More than 800 guests are expected to attend the 2014 Drapers Awards, which till be held on November 20 at Old Billingsgate, London.
