Celebrity and breast cancer survivor Linda Nolan has launched new specialist care shop Papillan in Preston.
The store was opened by friends Sue Jackson and Kaye Whenmouth, both of whom struggled to find underwear, swimwear or nightwear following surgeries for breast cancer.
In addition to opening the specialist outlet, Jackson will feature as Miss June in ‘Chemo, Courage and Corsetry,’ a Hollywood pin up themed charity calendar sponsored by Anita UK. Papillan will also join the Anita Care Centres of Excellence program.
Anita UK general manager Jemma Barnes said: “It is always a pleasure and an honour to be a part of the launch of a shop that can make a difference to those women affected by breast cancer. Surgery is only the first step to recovery and well being, specialist shops that can offer the service and choice these women deserve are a vital part of the recovery process and should be celebrated. We wish Papillon every success in their new venture.”
