Lidl will launch its first ever lingerie range this month as part of its Spring Fashion Collection.
A sneak peek of the collection, which goes on sale on February 26, shows matching push-up bras and briefs priced at just £7.99 for a set.
A sateen wrap, priced at £4.99, finishes the collection.
The supermarket chain is following in the footsteps of Marks & Spencer and Tesco, which also offer low-cost lingerie.
The new line is part of Lidl’s See you in Venice collection, which also includes statement jewellery and apparel.
A Lidl spokesperson said: “As we see increased demand for fashion forward clothing at great value, it’s an exciting step for us to launch our second complete women’s fashion collection.
“With more choice than ever before, customers can purchase a whole outfit from us without the big price tag. Last year, items flew off the shelves within days of going on sale so we’d advise customers to get down to stores to snap up a bargain quick.”
