Lepel’s Matilda line sells out in two months

Lepel’s Matilda line has sold out within two months of leaving the factory, the brand told Lingerie Insight at the Indx trade show last week.

The padded balcony bra and mini brief in lipstick red is made in lace and features a nude underlay. The garment was launched for AW14 at Salon International de la Lingerie.

LF Intimates national account manager Vanessa Haden explained why the set was so popular amongst buyers. “It has a point of difference and is quite commercial. Red is always popular but has a neutral undertone.”

Other popular AW14 styles from Lepel include Lara, a deep plunge bra with subtle white flower embroidery and touch of mesh and pink. The brand’s bestselling Fiore-line has also be adapted in Fuchsia and Bluebell for the new season.
