Emerging lingerie brand Lara Intimates has shared the stories of real women in support of International Women’s Day today.

The lingerie brand, which was founded by two fashion contour students from London College of Fashion earlier last year, manufactures its lingerie in London’s Soho in small batches to reduce stock waste and enable the company to react quickly to what consumers demand.

In celebration of the annual day that celebrates women, Lara Intimates has promoted real women sharing insights on their bodies, lingerie and personalities.

A statement from the brand said: “Today, the world, both male and female, is coming together to celebrate women. We founded Lara Intimates to empower women by celebrating the relationship they have with their breasts. In honour of International Women’s Day, here are some of the women we know and love, sharing their Boob Diaries and discussing everything from body confidence to feminism to fast fashion.”

Earlier this week the company launched a platform for women to talk about their bodies. The Boob Diaries documents women finding their size and sharing past experiences.

The business duo commented: “We heard 85% of women wear the incorrect bra size, so we decided to do something about it. The Boob Diaries is stories of women finding their size, sharing past experiences and finally wearing the perfect fit.”

The most recent addition to the Boob Diaries can be found below.
