La Senza has unveiled its new, expanded store at the Lakeside shopping centre in Thurrock, Essex.
The lingerie retailer took on an adjacent unit, increasing the total space of the outlet to 2,981 sq ft.
It has also installed a new shop fit in the premises, with updated product lines, new fitting rooms and a fresh black and ivory colour scheme.
The re-fit took place in the wake of rival company Boux Avenue opening an outlet in the mall earlier this year.
The Boux Avenue store, which was founded by Dragon’s Den panel member Theo Paphitis – a former stakeholder of La Senza – is located on Floor 1 of the shopping centre, the same level as the La Senza outlet.
CSC London director of asset management Jonathan Ainsley told Retail Gazette: “La Senza has always performed well in Lakeside so we are delighted to have been able to work in partnership with them to raise their profile yet further in the centre.
“The opening follows the launch of fellow lingerie brand Boux Avenue in April and continues a raft of great openings for Lakeside, which later this year will also include new stores for fashion retailers Choice, Bhs and Topshop/Topman and a fantastic flagship for Forever 21 next year.”
