Highly-rated Canadian underwear brand, Knix Wear, has confirmed to Lingerie Insight that it is now distributing to the UK.
The athletic product line, which is made in collaboration with Lycra, provides a seamless garment designed to maximise comfort and movement, but until now it has only been available to purchase in North America.
A spokesperson for the business said this morning that it isn’t yet stocked in UK stores, but UK distribution is underway and the company will soon launch its own UK website specifically to sell the product. It aims to have the site up and running by April.
Knix Wear’s flagship ‘Evolution Bra’ can be worn eight different ways, offering durability and comfort across activities.
It is fully reversible and underwire-free with four-way stretch technology that reduces impact on the bust and comes with two sets of adjustable straps. Its patented fabric also absorbs sweat, fights odors and has a super-fast dry time for a seamless transition between work and play.
The company designed the bra with the active woman in mind and the idea of the ‘8-in-1’ concept is based on the idea that it can adapt to the rigors of the busiest days, seamlessly transitioning between work and play.
Knixwear launched its business three years ago with a line of high tech women’s underwear. It has since sold more than 100,000 pairs of underwear to women from over 35 countries.
Last year it raised more than $1m (£700m) from a crowdfunding campaign as part of a move to finance the expansion of the business.
