New brand Zakti Activewear has teamed up with former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt to develop a new dance-inspired collection.
The 42-piece collection, designed for women and girls, will go on sale next month in the UK, US and Canada.
The Kimberly Wyatt for Zakti Activewear collection draws on Wyatt’s experience as a choreographer and dancer, creating a new range of leggings, tops, jackets and accessories for women in sizes 4 to 18, and 30 pieces of girls aged 5 to 13 years old.
The SS17 range for women features bold colours, graphic prints, intricate straps, plus mesh details which add stretch and breathability.
The collection is also designed with comfort in mind, featuring quick-wicking fabric and flat lock seams for anti chaffing.
For girls, the range is vibrant, with bright blue and bright rose prints dominating the collection.
Standout styles include the Move to the Beat Leggings with matching crop tops, plus colourful leotards with strappy backs and mesh panels.
Commenting on the launch, Wyatt said: “I am so excited to collaborate with Zakti Activewear and bring my vision for dance-inspired fitness kit to life.”
Shantelle Augier, buying director for Zakti Activewear, said: “Kimberly’s ethos of maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle fits perfectly with Zakti Activewear’s philosophy of ‘Positive Energy.’ Her dancing background, natural style and attention to detail together with our exceptional product knowledge has created a collection which is directional, functional and fashionable.”
