Lingerie Collective founder Kelly Isaac has hailed the spirit of independent lingerie brands in the wake of the economic challenges that the UK continues to face.
Isaac – whose London boutique has just launched its first online store – insists there is enough entrepreneurialism in the domestic market to be encouraged.
“Being designer owned and led, the independent lingerie brands are keeping faith and focus. We’ve seen some big names sell out or run into trouble but the independents are continuing to produce fantastic collections for a dedicated and growing audience,” she said.
The Lingerie Collective specialises in the very best of British and international independent luxury lingerie labels. It is also dedicated to supporting the UK manufacturing industry with its own factory based in the heart of England.
“There’s always been this intensely creative group of British designer-led lingerie brands – focused on fashion, incredible quality and erotic chic as I like to call it,” adds Isaac.
The Lingerie Collective aims to become the space to showcase the best of British-led independent lingerie design.
“The boutique is about providing a canvas for the product,” says Isaac. “We offer a fresh and relaxed experience with a real focus on helping the customer, male or female. Its’ about providing people with the expertise, friendliness and respect they deserve, and you can see the lingerie and fit literally inspiring confidence.”
