Katherine Hamilton Intimates to launch maternity lingerie range

New campaign shots for the maternity range are coming soon.

Fuller-bust specialist Katherine Hamilton Intimates will add a maternity range to its luxury lingerie collection for SS17.

Founder and director Katy Payne was inspired to launch the range following the birth of her twin boys earlier this year.

She said it was “impossible” to find a luxury nursing bra in her smaller band and fuller cup bra size.

“Nursing bras are overlooked by the luxury lingerie industry, as though nursing is somehow incompatible with a high-end image, but as a nursing mum myself, my want and need for the support, comfort and confidence boost that luxury lingerie offers has never been more important to me,” she explained.

“We hope that by including nursing lingerie within our collection we are not only meeting the increasing demand for luxury by nursing mums but that we are also sending the message that nursing mums can and should be included in the luxury lingerie market”.

The maternity range consists of a three-piece, non-padded, drop-cup nursing bra that utilises KH Intimates’ bespoke underwires for underarm comfort and forward projection, and a high waist knicker that offers gentle tummy support.

The set will be available in black from the end of summer 2017 and in a wider range of colourways by 2018.
