The Kardashian collection of lingerie, women’s apparel, accessories, footwear and jewellery is launching today in the US.
The collection, which will enter into Sears stores nationwide, will encompass the personal fashion and lifestyle tastes of the three Kardashian sisters: Kim’s sexy red-carpet looks, Khloe’s rocker style and Kourtney’s updated Bohemian style.
The range made national headlines globally, last week, when images were released from the new print campaign, photographed by Annie Liebovitz, which featured the Kardashian sisters in provocative lingerie and sultry looking black and animal-print apparel.
Sears Holding executive vice president of apparel and home accessories John Goodman told WWD: “We’ve been trying to bring in different national brands and exclusive brands as well as celebrity brands. Over the past year, we’ve opened our San Francisco office and began reinventing Sears apparel, which has been a very big task.
“We did a soft launch in September with a pre-sell of the Kardashian Kollection.…The prelaunch was very successful and key items sold out in a week and a half.”
All product categories will be housed in dedicated Kardashian Kollection shop-in-shop environments in 400 Sears doors, with an additional 300 units showcasing ‘elements of the collection.’
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian said: “[We] worked really hard to create an incredible, price-friendly collection.
“We are so excited to see our fans’ reactions to the designs.”
Sister Khloe added, “It was really important to us to design looks for girls everywhere, no matter their signature style.”
