The judging panel for the 2014 UK Lingerie Awards have completed their deliberations to decide the winners and finalists of this year’s UK Lingerie Awards.
Judging took two days for the panel of industry experts including ASOS senior branded swimwear buyer Amy Willsher, Coco de Mer managing director Lucy Litwack and House of Fraser junior lingerie buyer Isabel Keith will mull over their favourite brands and retailers from a room of samples and lookbooks.
Also on the panel is Jo Dennis, director of the Simply Group; Claire O’Neill, EMEA Marketing Segment manager for Intimate Apparel & Swimwear at INVISTA; Cheryl Warner, founder of lingerie blog, Invest in Your Chest; Gillian Proctor, subject leader and principal lecture for Contour Fashion at De Montfort University; Nicola Dames, founder of stoma underwear specialist Vanilla Blush; and Paul Alger, director of international affairs at the UK Fashion & Textile Association.
"It has been an intense and enlightening two days," said Sarah Blackman, editor of Lingerie Insight and moderator for the judging process. "The quality of this year’s entries is the highest ever, so the finalists and winners will be truly worthy of their accolades."
The winners of the 2014 UK Lingerie Awards will announced at a spectacular ceremony on December 3 at the Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden.
