Jerry Cross agrees to drive Acoolah sales in UK

Acoolah, a new swimwear label created by Igor Pacemski, has appointed Jerry Cross of JDC apparel as its principal sales agent in the UK.

Pacemski is best-known in industry circles for the creation of Yes Master. He will launch Acoolah this summer with its Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

Acoolah, which will be manufactured in Bulgaria, is a contemporary women’s swimwear label made up of swimsuits and bikinis available up to a G cup.

Harking back to a bygone era of glamour, femininity and elegance, the collection gives a modern twist to retro fashion, visible in subtle references rather than pastiche looks, Pacemski told Lingerie Insight exclusively last month.

The debut collection is inspired by the Art Deco architecture of Miami and the unique colour palette of the building that sit in stark contrast to the geometric architecture with its ice cream hues.

The prints range from a demure shell print on sea green and a graphic flamingo feather, to nautical anchors and paisley designs in warm blues and coral.

Acoolah’s price point is much lower than Yes Master’s – with swimsuits retailing at £45 to £50.

“In saying that, the quality of the collection is still amazing,” said Pacemski. “We’re using Jersey Lomellina Lycra that is printed on site.

“We’ve made use of over 20 years of swimwear expertise from the team in Bulgaria to build a line.”

Jerry Cross, an experienced intimate apparel agent in the UK, welcomes the competitive pricing and quality of the Acoolah lines. “In these difficult trading times Acoolah, which is offering fabulous styling, great prints, reversible separates, cup sizing graded to G and a price point the industry hasn’t seen for a while, was a great brand to sit in his portfolio.”
