Interfilière has reported an increase in exhibitors at the 30th edition of the fabric show, which took place in Paris last month.
Organisers said 171 exhibitors participated in the show, a 13% increase on 2014.
There was a 5% drop in specialist retail chains attending the event, driven by political and economic issues in countries like Russia and Ukraine, but the number of intimates and beachwear brands in attendance rose by 3%.
Interfilière organisers also noted an increase in visitors from Spain, Poland, Canada and a Colombia, and a drop in visitors from South Korea, Japan and China.
The show shone spotlight on silk this season, with designers, brands and weavers honouring the delicate, natural material.
Chantal Thomass and Lise Charmel CEO, Jacques Daumal, were among the panellists to share their views on the fabric at a dedicated conference, while the Exception area showcased the finest silk creations from Interfilière exhibitors.
