Designer of the Year
Italian fabric designer Boselli has been named the 2017 Designer of the Year by Interfilière Paris. Boselli has been recognised for its high-performance satins and voiles used in the lingerie, activewear and ready-to-wear industries. The family business was founded by Enrico Boselli in 1898, when it initially specialised in silk, before the introduction of polyester in the 1970s. Today, under leadership of Enrico’s great-grandson Marco, Boselli is a vertically integrated business committed to supplying quality yarns and finished products.

Ultra Light focus
Interfilière Paris will shine a spotlight on ultra light fabrics this year in its Exception area. The space will display images, innovative designer garments, objects and future-oriented materials, expressing the lightness of movement, colour, materials and handmade details.

A programme of conferences will explore trends and news from the market. They will offer an opportunity to learn about the latest current issues and market developments and discuss them with colleagues.
