Italian fabric designer Boselli has been named the 2017 Designer of the Year by Interfilière Paris.

Boselli has been recognised for its high-performance satins and voiles used in the lingerie, activewear and ready-to-wear industries.

The family business was founded by Enrico Boselli in 1898, when it initially specialised in silk, before the introduction of polyester in the 1970s.

Today, under leadership of Enrico’s great-grandson Marco, Boselli is a vertically integrated business committed to supplying quality yarns and finished products.

“The ‘more or less’ approach doesn’t exist at Boselli; we do custom work and provide personalised products for our clients,” said Marco.

“It’s the basis for our success and it motivates us to innovate continually and transversally.”

Boselli follows in the footsteps of fabric makers Eurojersey, Willy Hermann and Brugnoli in being crowned Designer of the Year by Interfilière Paris.
